
Janice O'Sullivan, Master of Education, Academic Services
Janice O’Sullivan joined Therapeutic Designs & Services, Inc. in 2011 with 25 years of teaching and working with children and families. She earned her Master of Science in Education with a concentration in Early Childhood Learning and Behavioral Disorders from the State University of New York College at Fredonia. Janice taught at The Board of Cooperative Educational Service's Head State Program for nine years working with underprivileged children with the county. For three years, Janice served as the County Coordinator and Counselor for the Salvation Army's Domestic Violent Children & Family Outreach Program in western New York state. In 1997, Janice relocated to Hartsville with her husband ad two sons. Following a year as a volunteer at the Hartsville Interfaith Ministries, she began teaching the third grade students at Thomas Hart Academy, SCISA institution for 13 years. For the last nine of the years at the academy, Janice held the position of Assistant Headmaster in addition to her teaching responsibilities.
Outside her professional career, Janice is a nationally certified aerobics instructor and teach aerobics at the YMCA in Hartsville. She was the recipient of the 2010 Volunteer of the Year Award by the YMCA in the Upper Pee Dee for her 14 years of volunteer service to the community of Hartsville. She is also a Christian's Development Instructor at St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church.
